We provide a wide range of advice from safety requirements to caring, cleaning your burner and changing your wax. We promise to provide our best service to your highest level of satisfaction.
When choosing your tea light wax burner make sure you take into account its height from the tea light to the wax burner dish, any air holes as this can have a big impact on the results you receive. Remove any labels or tags from the burner before setting up.
Our wax melts are suitable for both tea light and electric burners but please ensure the burner is safe for WAX melt use. (This will be stated on the burner label)
Depending on your room size and personal preference, break off a cube or two of wax and place in the dish located at the top of the burner (depending on design and size of the wax adapt appropriately). Place a single unscented tea light underneath the burner (only tea light burners require tea lights!)
For your safety please use only one tea light per wax burner!
Never leave unattended candle or tea-light on, (tea light burner and electric burners too) do not leave unattended around animals or children! Do not burn in a enclosed space with animals or children under 18 years, only burn in a well ventilated room.
When burning wax melts:
DO NOT ingest wax. It looks good enough to eat but it's not edible!
To change and clean your burner it is advised to wear protective gloves as irritation or allergies can occur. Before you clean your burner please ensure it is cooled before touching! To clean your burner, to start you will need to soak up the wax with cotton pads (whilst the wax is molten) or you can apply slight pressure to cooled (molten) wax so then it should come out the burner in one piece.
When you have emptied the wax fully be sure to check it is clear of smoke stains on the inside of your burner. Wipe over with cotton pads or cotton buds to ensure the burner is clean and clear of residue both inside an out.
Once dried you can place the burner back in a safe place ready for a new melt to be placed in the burner.
You can continue to use the same wax melt until you can no longer smell the fragrance (or if you prefer to try a different fragrance).
Ensure your burner is not next to open windows or draughts or any flammable material of any kind including liquids.
